Requirements to Become an Ohio Freemason
To be eligible for membership in an Ohio Masonic lodge like West Gate Lodge #623 F&AM you must meet the following criteria established by the Grand Lodge of Ohio:
- Be a male at least 19 years of age.
- Be a resident of Ohio for at least six months.
- Be able to read and write English.

4. Investigation and Background Check: Once received, an investigating committee (typically three lodge members) will meet with you privately to discuss your interest, character, and qualifications.
